Teamwork makes a dream work! Three seniors medical gasteroenterologists and one GI Surgeon of Nagpur in pursuit of excellence and expanding their horizons decided to merge their dreams and come together on a team. The result in the new “LGI HOSPITALS” which has come up at Dhantoli, Nagpur since May 2023.

Gastroenterology as a speciality has expanded and exploded exponentially in last 2 decades. The speciality is now has further divided into many subspecialities like Hepatology, Luminal Gastroenterology, IBD, GI motility, pancreato-iliary, third space endoscopy and so on. Similarly, Surgical Gastroenetrology has evolved into Upper GI, Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary, Colorectal, GI Oncology and Minimal invasive subsoecialities. This makes it difficult for a single person to excel in all subspecialities. Keeping this limitations in mind LGI has been launched where from GI specialists, each with his own niche expertise, have joined hands firmly to provide comprehensive liver and Gastroenetrology care (LGI) under one roof. No longer will patients with GI diseases have to shuttle between different centers to get treated on collective efforts will provide the best medical care at a state-of-the-art-facility.
